Resumen:	Las nociones de monismo, dualismo y pluralismo jurídico son propias del desarrollo de la filosofía jurídica del siglo XX. En antropología, desde la aparación de la Law & Society Association y la fundación en 1978, de la Comisión on Folk Law and Legal Pluralism, la discusión sobre las características de la oposición entre pluralismo y monismo jurídico basadas en la codificación de la ley estatal han sido constantes. Este procedimiento encierra la dificultad del deslinde conceptual con una versión previa de derecho ya creada por el positivismo jurídico decimonónico. La crisis del Estado de Derecho y la aparición en los ños noventa de la discusión jurídica sobre bienes básicos ha reavivado la polémica sobre el pluralismo.
Resumen:	The notions of monism, dualism, and legal pluralism belong to the developments of the 20 the legal philosophy. Since the foundation of the Law & Society Association and the Commission on Folk Law and Legal Pluralism in 1978, the discussion on the character of the opposition between legal monism and pluralism -based on the codification of state law- has pervaded the anthropological field. To proceed in this way, nevertheless, entails one difficulty: to adopt a conceptual distance with the previous version of "law" created by the legal positivism of the 19th century. The crisis of the state and the emergence of the legal dispute over essential commodities (water, land, resources, etc. ) have fuelled the controversy on legal pluralism. This paper proposes to distinguish the different dimensions of normative relationships in particular interactions, so that we may avoid the conceptual framework imposed by the sedimentation of the 20th century legal and professional categories.
