La traducción de noticias con soporte icónico : la imagen como referente cultural

Abstract:	El artículo plantea la situación de la traducción de noticias ilustradas con fotografías. Utiliza como corpus una noticia aparecida en un diario marroquí en la que la carga cultural, además de ser muy patente, está tanto en el texto de la noticia como en la fotografía que lo acompaña. Partiendo de la asunción de la imagen como un hecho cultural, el artículo revisa la noción de referente cultural y presenta el análisis del texto sobre la distinción entre culturemas textuales y culturemas icónicos. Asimismo, reflexiona sobre la coherencia entre el texto escrito y el texto visual, que es la que permite a este tipo de texto híbrido mostrarse como un único texto.
Abstract:	The article presents the situation of translating news illustrated with photographs. It uses as a corpus a news article that appeared in a Moroccan newspaper in which the cultural load is both in the written text and in the photograph that accompanies it. Assuming that the image is a cultural fact, the paper examines the notion of cultural reference and presents an analysis of the text on the distinction between textual culturemes and iconic culturemes. It also reflects on the coherence between the written and visual text, which allows this kind of hybrid text to be displayed as a single text.
