Abstract:	El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar las relaciones de sucesos en pliegos sueltos en verso del siglo xvi sobre la Guerra de las Alpujarras y, al mismo tiempo, prestar atención a todas aquellas que conservamos y que manifiestan una clara ideología antimusulmana. A través de un recorrido por todas ellas intentaremos mostrar si existe un punto de inflexión tras la rebelión alpujarreña y, por lo tanto, si a medida que nos acercamos al siglo xvii existe una mayor intensificación del miedo y el desprecio hacia el otro, hacia el musulmán.
Abstract:	The aim of this essay is to analyse the sixteenth-century single event news pamphlets in verse that deal with the War of the Alpujarras, and, at the same time, to focus on those extant documents that display distinctively anti-Islamic attitudes. Examining all of them, we examine whether there is a change of attitude after the rebellion of the Alpujarras and, therefore, whether the sixteenth century ends with a greater intensification of fear and contempt towards the Muslim other.
