Lo scopo di questo contributo è mostrare come Andrea Camilleri e Arturo Pérez-Reverte, scrittori di paesi e lingue diverse, abbiano adottato strategie narrative simili per ricostruire gli avvenimenti del passato. Il focus si concentra, in particolare, sul fatto che hanno raccontato la dittatura e la guerra, che entrambi hanno sperimentato, utilizzando le armi dell'ironia e del sarcasmo e deformando la realtà talvolta in modo parodico e caricaturale. Attraverso il sense of humour di cui sono dotati, prendono le distanze dagli avvenimenti, rispettando la memoria degli eventi e richiamando la società civile all'assunzione del senso di responsabilità individuale. |
| Abstract: |
The purpose of this paper is to show how Andrea Camilleri and Arturo Pérez-Reverte, writers from different countries and languages, have adopted similar narrative strategies to reconstruct the events of the past. Special attention is given to their experiences of dictatorship and war, which they both lived, by using irony and sarcasm as a weapon and by deforming reality, sometimes in a parodic and caricatured way. Through their sense of humour, they distance themselves from facts, showing respect for the memory of events and inviting civil society to assume a sense of individual responsibility. |
