Abstract:	La recerca versarà sobre el tractament de les dones a l'obra de Tit Livi, Ab Vrbe Condita, en tant que tenen un paper protagonista en alguns dels esdeveniments històrics reflectits en aquesta obra i que són el punt de partida per a la tradició posterior. Per això, en aquest treball s'analitzarà la figura de la dona i el seu paper a la societat romana a partir de la lectura dels 10 primers llibres de l'obra, atenent al moment històric, tot considerant la intenció de l'autor al proemi de la seva obra en donar exemples de vicis i virtuts. També es realitzarà una comparació entre la concepció que té Tit Livi sobre la dona i la que té Ovidi utilitzant les mateixes figures femenines.
Abstract:	The ensuing research will focus on the treatment of women in Livy's work, Ab Vrbe Condita, assuming the leading role they play in some of the historical events reflected in this piece, considered the starting point for later tradition. For this reason, in this final degree project, the figure of the woman and her role in Roman society will be analysed based on the reading of the first 10 books of the work. To do so, I make a selection of the women who appear in these books and extract their characteristics to spot similarities and discrepancies, paying attention to the historical moment and the intention of the author made at the preface of his work to exemplify vices and virtues. Furthermore, a final section will compare the conception of women in Livy with the one of Ovid regarding the same sample of female figures.
