Fomento de vocaciones científicas desde el juego y las preguntas : construcción de un directorio de 80 interrogantes desde la ciencia, la educomunicación y los videojuegos

Abstract: Encouraging scientific vocations through games and questions is the mission of "Reporter@s de la ciencia: La aventura del conocimiento", a project funded by the FECYT, aimed at students in Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO). To achieve this, it will be based on 5 scapes rooms and a video game with challenges inspired by the universal history of science from a gender perspective. The project addresses local and global challenges that affect both citizens and the planet in general, and the questions, the reporters' working tool, are the basis of the games. Some of them derive from the work of the research project carried out together with RTVE on "Identification, Verification and Response. The democratic state facing the challenge of self-interested disinformation". This work presents the conceptual foundations of the proposal based on the directory of 80 questions that delimit the table of contents that will shape the final deliverables. This phase emphasises the importance of drawing cross-cutting thematic lines that connect the main object of study (science) with the everyday environments and preferences of the target audience of the initiative (internet and social networks) and present it in gamified platforms so that students can influence their own learning. The study concludes that the video game is presented as an informative and educational format adaptable to the context of scientific research.
