La prolífica activitat en diversos àmbits de Sadurní Ximénez no es va aturar amb l'arribada del nou segle. Després d'uns primers anys relativament assentat al nord d'Àfrica, aquest rodamon menorquí deixà aquesta estabilitat per tornar a voltar per l'Europa i el Mediterrani orientals. Home de mil projectes, durant aquests anys edità nombrosos diaris i revistes, col·laborà com a reporter per múltiples mitjans durant les Guerres dels Balcans i la Gran Guerra, i es va veure involucrat en diferents escàndols que li van valer diverses estades a la presó. Quan tornà a casa, tampoc trobà la tan anhelada tranquil·litat i, de nou, fou partícip d'alguns afers obscurs que involucraren les més altes autoritats del país. |

Sadurní Ximénez's prolific activities in different fields did not stop with the coming of the new century. After some years of relative stability in North Africa, this Minorcan globetrotter left that steadiness to start wandering again through Eastern Europe and the Eastern Mediterranean. He was a man involved in many projects and, throughout those years, he edited several newspapers and journals, collaborated as a reporter for different media during the Balkan Wars and the Great War, and was implicated in some scandals, which ended up with him in prison several times. When he returned home, he did not find a much-wished tranquillity and, once more, he took part in some obscure affairs, which involved the country's highest authorities. |
