Abstract: Alejandro Ciordia is a postdoctoral researcher in political sociology at Autonomous University of Barcelona. Political sociologist focused on social movements and collective action (PhD at the University of Trento, 2020). His doctoral research examined the recent evolution of interorganizational networks within the Basque environmental field before and after the end of violent conflict. His main research interests are civil society organizations, social capital, interorganizational networks, environmentalism, nationalist movements, repertoires of contention, and political violence.
Abstract: Livia Tomas is a PhD candidate at the Institute of Sociology, Université of Neuchâtel. As a social scientist, she has a particular interest in questions concerning migration, political and economic trends, and data analysis. In the framework of the National Centre of Competence in Research on Migration and Mobility (nccr - on the move) she is currently studying mobility patterns, transnational practices, care arrangements, and social networks of older adults (64+) moving from Switzerland to Spain.
