L'objectiu d'aquest article és analitzar i comparar quatre traduccions al català de dos poemes de Les fleurs du mal, de Charles Baudelaire. Es poden traduir, els poemes? Malgrat que alguns autors han manifestat la impossibilitat de traduir poesia, aquest estudi pretén centrar-se en els elements suposadament intraduïbles d'un poema i valorar quines han estat les traduccions més reeixides fins ara. |

The aim of this article is to contrast and compare four different approaches to the translation of two poems by Baudelaire, both taken from the volume Les fleurs du mal. Can poetry ever truly be translated? Although many critics have often believed that poetry is beyond translation, this study will focus in on the supposedly "untranslatable" elements of the poems, looking at which versions can be considered a success and to what extent. |
