En el Romanticisme es crea un nou gust estètic en contra de la racionalitat i a favor de l'exaltació dels sentiments que permet trencar amb un cànon limitatiu de lo bell, per obrir-ho a nous horitzons que permeten incloure allò sinistre en l'art. Recuperem el mite d'Eros i Tànatos per posar en conversa les dicotomies de bell i lleig, que quan coexisteixen trenquen amb els cànons establerts fins al moment. Els diàlegs que s'estableixen entre conceptes contraposats creen un nou marc i espai perquè sigui ocupat per noves figuracions i formes representatives; com podrem observar en els Caprichos de Goya. |
| Abstract: |
In Romanticism, a new aesthetic taste is created against rationality and in favor of the exaltation of feelings. This allows to break with a restrictive canon of the beautiful, to open it to new horizons that allow the sinister to be included in art. Recovering the myth of Eros and Thanatos to put in conversation the dichotomies of beauty and ugly, which when they coexist break with the canons established so far. The dialogues that are established between opposed concepts create a new framework for it to be occupied by new figurations; as we can see in the Caprichos de Goya. |
